EPC91122 Evaluation Board

The EPC91130 and EPC91131 demonstration boards are a 3-phase BLDC motor drive inverter board featuring the EPC23110 and the EPC23111 ePower™ Stage IC 8.7 mΩ typ RDS(on), 100 V maximum device voltage. The EPC91130/31 can deliver up to 25 Apk (18 ARMS) pulsed output current. The EPC9130/31 contain all the necessary critical functions circuits to support a complete motor drive inverter including gate drivers, regulated auxiliary power rails for housekeeping supplies, voltage, and temperature sense, accurate current sense, and protection functions.

One (1) EPC91130/31 evaluation board
One (1) EPC9147E controller board

Features

  • 3-phase inverter based on EPC23110 and EPC23111 ePower™ Stage IC with wide input DC voltage ranging from 14 V to 80 V
  • Dimensions: Lx W = 81 x 75 mm
  • Low distortion switching that keeps motor audio emission low and reduces torque ripple
  • dv/dt optimized for motor drives less than 10 V/ns
  • Current sense, voltage sense, temperature monitoring circuit
  • Protection features including: over-current and input supply under voltage lockout
  • Shaft encoder/Hall sensors interface connector for motor drive application with two voltage levels selection option
